I am a proud mother of 3 amazing teenage girls. My husband of over 20 years has been by my side and joins me on all of life's adventures. Having battled cancer, I just want to have fun and live life to its fullest.
I think it is fair to say that I was fated to a be a physical therapist. I grew up in healthcare with my father being a nurse practitioner, a pioneer at the time. Together, with my mom, who later became a social worker, I was taught about health from the moment I could listen. My first job was in the hospital as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at the age of 15! I have been hooked on health career since!

I realized I wanted to be a physical therapist because of the role we have in restoration. After all of the dust settles from whatever affliction or trauma you've experienced, you need to find yourself again. No one is more prepared in my opinion that a PT.
I have served the Lake shore community since graduating from Grand Valley State University with my Masters in Physical Therapy. I am a student forever. Always trying to learn as much as I can. My own life experiences as a wife, a mother, a daughter, and a friend have really shaped my practice and broadened my perspective as a PT. I have learned a lot about conquering life's many challenges too.

I get it.
